I am available for talks

One of the main reasons that I have written Walking on Ice, is from the strong demand to read the story. This interest is always sparked when I am asked about my life, and invariably the call for the book starts after I have given one of my talks about Alaska.

This all began on my return from Alaskaa when I agreed to talk to a group after a request from a teacher friend. That first talk set off a large number of other requests. Every subsequent talk has been through word of mouth, and from recommendations. I  have been invited back to some groups more than once. Many are waiting for Walking on Ice to be published.

I have always been a successful storyteller. I thoroughly enjoy talking to classes or groups of students from early childhood to senior college students

Some of my artefacts....
I have a selection of artefacts from Alaska that includes many Eskimo dolls made from renowned Cup'ik doll makers. One of the US presidents even has his own.The dolls are excellent examples dicultural activities, and some even come with personal stories tucked into their pockets by their dollmaker.
