Motueka Library Book Launch Thursday 27th August at 7pm
There is much excitement ( and relief) as Nesting on the Nushagak ( Noosh ar gack) is being released this coming week at Motueka Library, Motueka, Nelson. It is scheduled for Thursday 27th March at 7pm.
These past few weeks have been hectic working on the final edit and proof reading, and discovering all sorts of worries e.g. use of song lyrics as the book was coming off the press.
This whole process has been such a steep learning curve, that I am keen to share some of my experiences with others who are looking at the word of self publishing. I am planning on running a workshop along with Ro Cambridge in the coming months.
PS I have decided to treat anyone who comes along to Motueka Library on Thursday winter's evening, to some of my 'famous' Anzac cookies.. the ones that I made thousands of while living in Bush Alaska! So I won't tell Gary - he's coming, and they'll all be gone!
