I honestly think every person in Nelson must have heard me at least once by now. Do you know every time I speak, I seem to spawn another engagement from someone in the crowd who wants me to visit a new group... or revisit an old one... I feel sorry for those in the audience who must think 'Oh no not HER again!'
I have recently begun to speak to groups further afield, giving my first talk in Auckland in October this year, and my wonderful husband Gary ( Kotzman), who sometimes accompanies me and is an excellent speaker, spoke instead of me in Christchurch at the Cashmere Probus group when I was unable to make that date late this year. He was accompanied and supported by my great friend, helper and Matron of Honour, Ginny ( Jenny in the book),
I am so grateful to all of you who greet me when I am out, to tell me how much you enjoyed the talk or the book(s). One lovely lady who approached me last week told me she had not stopped giggling for days after my last talk. That comment left me remembering the uproarious reaction by her group to some of my silly stories....I smiled all day at that memory too:-)
For those of you who ask, "Where is the next one?" the third book "Dancing on the Tundra" is coming along nicely.
I am taking a break at this time of year to prepare for family as well as great friends Jen and Ginny ( JJ and Jenny) visiting over the holidays.
Best wishes to you all during this holiday summer season, and thank you for all the listening and all the book orders. I am planning on having Nesting on the Nushagak on Amazon as an ebook early in the New Year.
Happy Holidays Everyone!
